My self-summary
Assalam O Alaikum I shall attempt to tell you a little about myself without boring you :) I started off studying medicine in the Netherlands in Amsterdam but during my rotations I found myself having too many conversations with patients where I was telling them that we have exhausted all medicinal and operative options I am afraid there is nothing more we can do for you. Repeating this conversation all too often really dis-heartend me as my intention to study medicine has always been to be able to help people. I found that allopathy had too many limitations. So my journey started in alternative/Natural medicine. After searching and going through many different paths from chinese and japanese medicine i eventually ended up in the world of Ayurveda which has a lot in common with Islamic Medicine and based on logic that appeased my scientific side. Aside from practising Ayurvedic and Islamic Medicine I also give workshops on these subjects as well as bodylanguage
My long term goals
I would love to make a difference in people lives. I aspire to be an instrument that allows people to feel better physically, mentally and more importantly spiritually. This I hope to achieve with the line of work I have chosen.
Things I'm good at and enjoy
I am good at conversing on a almost any ranges of subjects from deen to the latest tech. I enjoy spending time with family and friends and cherish those moments as gifts from Allah swt
The first thing people notice about me
I have been told my smile :)
My family background and values
I am of Pakistani ethnic origin but born in the UK and raised in different parts of the world. So I consider myself a citizen of the world where Islam is my identity and the world is my home :)
What I love most about Islam
I love what is Islam teaches us through the Quran and Sunnah and how it is litteraly applicable to all of mankind throughout the ages and the time to come. I love how perfect strangers are brought together by the simple utterance of Assalam O Alaikum. I love how Islam reminds me what humanity is and how not to only be good to my fellow man but also to myself. There is soooooo much I love about Islam the space granted here will never be enough but something I would love to elaborate on in future conversatons :)
Things I'm looking for in a partner
I hope to find someone who is willing and prepared to better themselves constantly in terms of personal and more importantly spiritual development. Someone who sees life as a gift from Allah swt and treats as such or is willing to at least try to do so. Someone to share my journey with. Someone who loves a sense of humour. Who likes to do things on a whim someone who knows how to enjoy life. Basically I am looking for a life partner to start an extraordinary adventure with in deen and dunya.
