I'm a born Emirati (Abu Dhabi, UAE) from Syrian origins (both parents born in Syria). Whole family moved to Auckland New Zealand when I was about 11 years old. Have attended intermediate and High school here in Auckland. Done some University study then moved to Sydney, Australia with family. Came back to NZ in 2015 and worked as Construction Labourer then went into IT study as I was passionate about IT, computers and Technology since High School years but decided to do something different for uni as I did not want to restrict myself to an office job and wanted to see the world. I now have a Level 5 Diploma in IT Technical Support and Almost finished with a level 6 Diploma in Systems Administration with one paper to go to graduate. My parents now live in Sydney, Australia. Three brothers and 2nd sister there as well. 1st sister is married and lives here in Auckland close by so we visit each other. I was born with a scoliosis of the spine for which I had a surgery to correct in 2002. Has improved since then. Still have a slight limp while walking other than that all is good.

My self-summary

My long term goals

Study-wise I want to finish my current diploma, do my best to get into Bachelors in Network and Systems Administration, and hopefully end up with a Masters in IT. If Allah blesses me with a PhD then that would also be really great. Work wise, I want to be a highly experienced Systems and cloud Administrator/Engineer in one of the biggest tech companies there is and end up as a CIO - Chief Information Officer. If entrepreneurship goes well for me I want to start up and found my own IT company that provides IT and Tech services for the masses including repairing desktops and laptops, Network installation, virus removal, building computers for home and businesses, cloud installation, deployment and support. As well as maybe sell very sought after IT infrastructure and gadgets. Religion wise, I would like to properly learn the deen and how to convey it to others and participate in Dawah activities as well as earn Allah's pleasure and end up in the high ranks of paradise with the prophets and the Sahabah.

Things I'm good at and enjoy

I like Volleyball, soccer and swimming but I'm not really good at them, just for sports and a good game. I also like spending time on the computer, learning, developing, building and fixing.

The first thing people notice about me

I'm not sure, have never asked people what they first notice about me. But, I've had wannabe monks in the Auckland CBD comment about what a nice beard I had.

My family background and values

Family background is in Hama, Syria. Parents, uncles, aunties as well as grandparents moved to Emirates and other Gulf countries before and after we were born. Some extended family members still remain in Hama, Syria to this day. We do not mix between the genders, we try our best to raise the children in an Islamic way, we work hard to earn a halal sustenance. We keep in touch and ask about each other every now and then.

What I love most about Islam

Everything about Islam is loveable. But having lived in western countries for a long time I love how Islam answers the simple and deep questions in life such as why were you created? What is your purpose in life? and where will you be heading? And does not leave us in darkness that other people may be in.

Things I'm looking for in a partner

I'm looking for a loving, caring, optimistic wife that wants to learn the deen and put it into practice in day to day basis and raise pious, Allah-loving and fearing children that may one day become scholars and support the religion and be it's leaders. Would also love for her to enjoy talking and spending time with me by ourselves to better get to know each other better and better our relationship between ourselves and with the rest of our families.

You should message me if

You want to get married and your parents are ok with that.
