My immediate family and I are Salafi, we follow the Prophet SAW and his companions, and those that closely followed them. We do not take from Salafi Publications. I follow the Qur’an and sunnah to the best of my ability - I don’t know everything, I’m always learning and I always try to align my views with those of the Shari’ah. Alhamdulillah, I pray 5x, I do my best to uphold salah, zakat, and sawm. I spend time searching for Laylat al Qadr. I study tajweed and Arabic (I’ve got a teacher from Egypt). I’m currently doing an Islamic course online, and trying to seek as much sound knowledge as I can. I’ve got good ties with the masjid, I spend as much time there as I can. I do odd bits of work there from time to time. I’m chaste, I keep a beard - a fistful but trying to grow it longer InshaAllah, I lower my gaze, cover my awrah, and don’t free-mix unnecessarily, extended family included. I wear my trousers above my ankles. My income is halal. I don’t listen to music or own a TV. I try to be honest and fair, and I think I have decent akhlaaq. I’m a private person, I don’t have social media. I am quite light hearted most of the time but can be serious too. I try to keep fit by working out at home, I also train boxing and jiu jitsu. InshaAllah I would like to travel to gain knowledge from the people of ilm in the coming years. I’d be open to making Hijrah in the future, Allahu A'lam.
Things I'm looking for in a partner
I don’t expect perfection, but it would be nice if she: - Is Salafi - Observes her fardh, and some sunnah too - Is kind hearted and gentle, not loud or brash. - Has good self awareness, hayaa - Is chaste - Loves children - Is okay with not working (or working from home if she likes) after marriage Ethnicity/social status/economic status/education level are not important.
