I am a primary school teacher and a mum of two teenage boys. Alhamdulillah my boys are supportive of me marrying again. I enjoy chatting with friends over coffee or dinner, laughing with family at a BBQ or meeting new people. I also like to spend time at the beach, driving through the countryside, archery, kayaking. My weakness is my need for speed. One day I’d like to ride a Harley.

My self-summary

My long term goals

Long term goals include to be married, Inshaa Allah, continue to improve my iman, travel more, continue to learn new things in my career and maintain a healthy work/ life balance.

Things I'm good at and enjoy

I enjoy my profession, coffee, the beach, talking to old people about their younger days, archery, kayaking and car racing.

The first thing people notice about me

Up to you to determine ;)

My family background and values

Both parents Lebanese, I was born in Australia. Religion is very important to me as it effects what I do on a daily basis. Marriage is hard enough these days, so similar religious beliefs are important. Yet I’m not the best with my clothing and Islamic practices. I believe in Islam not femininity. Both men and women must not only know their rights in a marriage, but also their responsibilities. This ensures their spouse receives their rights. I’m all for a mum being able to stay at home and look after her young children if that’s what the two agree on. I believe my husband isn’t just a bank account, he’s my best friend and partner in crime.

What I love most about Islam

It’s perfection

Things I'm looking for in a partner

I’m not looking to be someone’s chef, house maid or baby maker. I will happily do all of the above from my heart as I know it’s part of my responsibility as a wife and it’s also how you treat someone you love. I’m looking for a man who is confident in who he is in this world and is not afraid to see me as his partner and an equal in our marriage. Someone who will ask for my advice when it’s appropriate. Someone who can’t wait to take me out to the movies or to dinner on the weekend. I’m a mature woman so maturity is also important. But yet he also needs to know how to have fun, take a risk or play a prank ;)

You should message me if

Most of the above sounds good to you and if you aren’t married.
