Honestly, I'm slow warming up to people but can be very chatty once I'm familiar with them. I'm a bit of a foodie. I enjoy a good lunch paired with and a siesta. My leisure time is spent mostly at home with family but I also treasure some 'ME' time every now and again. I'll go out for a good movie if there is one or book myself a table for one for a quick brunch. Last year I left my admin job in the corporate sector (was not a halal job anyway) because I wanted to change my career to something more rewarding. However, it has proven not as easy as I anticipated. No hope lost though, I'm still working on joining the health care field to benefit the elderly, most importantly. My intent is to relocate overseas to start my career and InshaAllah join a Muslim community I may be a part of and learn from. Canada being first on my list because I want to experience snow and I love maple syrup. Deen is hard sometimes but I remind myself that there is no greater gift than being a Muslim and Allaah subhana wa-ta-ala does not burden us with more than we can bare. So akhy, I'm looking for someone to share this Dunya with while we work our way to our Akhira.
My long term goals
To get married in-sha-Allah and to obtain a qualification in Physiotherapy. Working to improve myself as Muslim woman.
Things I'm good at and enjoy
I love cooking and thoroughly enjoy good food so when I have time I love to entertain family and/or friends at home. To unwind, I listen to Islamic lectures and Quran. When the weather is right I love to go hiking. I have been told I am very good company once acquaintances are in order.
The first thing people notice about me
Every encounter is different.
My family background and values
As a convert most of my values and beliefs have changed from before Islam. Nonetheless I was raised to have good morals; love and respect everyone around me. Alhamdulillah those values are still instilled in me upheld in my new religion.
What I love most about Islam
Allah (subhana wa ta ala), the word of Allah (subhana wa ta ala) and his Messenger (salallahu alayhi wasalam), Sallah and knowledge.
Things I'm looking for in a partner
A practicing brother InShaAllah. Someone I can enjoy walks in the park with and watch the stars in the night. Independent and self confident; respectful; affectionate and mature with a good sense of humor. Because my personality is quite the opposite, I find myself mostly drawn to extroverts for their great energy.
You should message me if
Serious and sincere about your intentions.
