My self-summary
Hi there! I've signed up to the site in the hopes of meeting someone that I could share chemistry, humor and a long term relationship with! I think being able to vibe with an individual on different levels is important - on serious notes, getting each others humor, or even choosing to sit quietly with one another (not because you're both bored) but because you both know it's ok to do that together and there's no need for worry :) - In a nutshell, it's sort of like, putting in the error while it still feeling effortless? Who knows...it could happen? Best of luck to everyone!
My family background and values
So, I pray Fajr on time...but usually when I get home in the evening, i'll catch up on the other prayers by doing my fard's for them..(if i'm not totally exhausted, i'll do Isha) and on the weekends i'm more inclined to pray on time. I fast during Ramadan. I give zakat and do donations to Islamic charities (I wish I could do even more than I do right now!) I would like a partner to be able to pray and make the attempt to (not half baked attempts, but really give it a try every day) and its important to me that they fast and will hopefully be down with giving zakat and charity - I mean, if we're better off than millions of people in this world, and we were the ones Allah chose to bless us with what so many others don't have, who am I to think that i'm better than those in poverty that I shouldn't try to help? At the end of it all, everything can change in a blink of an eye...and it's important to try and do good when we have the opportunity to.
Things I'm looking for in a partner
While i'm not 100% sure about this one, it would be great if I could find someone: - Who I felt chemistry with both personality wise & physically - Who laughs at my jokes and can make me laugh (where i'm actually laughing, and not laughing to try and be polite :) - Who works hard, has ambition and takes steps to achieve it - Organized, clean, polite, friendly, respectable, easy going but knows when to be serious - Who will fast, give zakat/charity Inshallah :)
