My self-summary
Recently divorced from a 19 years marriage. I have 2 children, a 10b and 9g. I have spent spent a significant time on my career and through doing that, have failed my children. It's time I bring them and myself closer to Allah SWT. I hope to find a spouse to walk with me on this path to strengthen my iman. And we'll have a lot of fun doing it together.
My long term goals
To find a partner that will be kind, patient and respectful of my values.
Things I'm good at and enjoy
Being a mom!! I am the finder of all things lost, baker of my children's favorite desserts, and have eyes in the back of my head to see them stealing a cookie. My kids call it momma magic.
The first thing people notice about me
is that I don't look like a Muslimah on the outside appearance. Yes, I don't wear a hijab and I'm Asian. Both don't give me away to be Muslim. But once you get to know me, and hear me speak on Islamic issues and experience my kindness, you will notice I am ALL Muslim inside.
My family background and values
I'm very close to my mom and siblings. I don't expect my partner to get along with my siblings but it's a must to respect my mother. Also, family members bicker and laugh together so it's okay to bump heads once in awhile but we forgive and move on. One thing I teach my children is that we can be mad at each other all day but at the end of the day, we always kiss good night.
What I love most about Islam
Islam prohibits where prohibition is needed and Islam promotes kind ettiquettes to live in harmony with each other.
Things I'm looking for in a partner
Someone who fears Allah and shows humility in how he treats those he loves and even those who has wronged him. Someone I can pray with at home and wake up to fast with. At the same time, someone who can be corny with me and laugh and play together. Also, at my age, someone who is already establushed financially. I've worked hard to be where I'm at and would like to enjoy life and travel with ease.
You should message me if
you're interested and let's just chat. If we don't mesh on chat, let's just move on.
